I have been fascinated by Iceland since I was a child and had a pen friend, Svana Davidsdottir, who lived in Reykjavik. My first visit however was not until April 1999, when it was on my "must do before the end of the millennium" list! It was better than I could have imagined. I've visited each year since for my annual "fix".
Some photos taken on my visits appear below.
